Are you tired of spending hours in photoshop trying to extract, modify or stylize a photograph or artwork?  Are you sick of not getting your graphic work exactly right?   If so, a graphic tablet and pen are the must have add on accessory for your computer.

When looking for a graphics tablet and pen, the first choice and best choice will be the products  made by Wacom.  Tablets are available for home and office, creative photographic and graphic designers and speciality uses such as medical, education and geographical mapping applications.

Graphic tablets and pens allow the user to work more quickly and naturally.  The pen allows for the natural flow of pen to pad and provides cursor precision that a mouse can not possibly replicate.  Users can easily annotate images, conduct interactive demonstrations, and take hand written notes when used with Microsoft’s Office Suite.

wacomWacom tablets and pens are available in all levels and price ranges.  The entry level model, the bamboo, features combination pen and multi touch applications that makes it easy to navigate around your desktop.  Next in line are the Cintiq models.  The Cintiq, my personal favorite, features drawing right on the tablet, and gives you exact pixel correction control.  For photographers, the Cintiq, cuts out hours of tedious work and makes even the most exact changes a pen click away.  For extracting features from a photo, you merely trace around the object, and with a few clicks of the pen the feature has disappeared.  Finally, the specialized versions make computer and graphic combinations for your business an effortless task.

Prices for the Wacom range from around $50 for entry levels to over $2000 or more for custom made products.  No matter what your graphic level there is a Wacom tablet made just for you.  Try one and you shall see how easily your graphic projects can be completed.

Hanvon graphic tablets are also very good, which are only alternative for wacom’s high end tablets. I am using hanvon’s AM0605 now. And details, please kindly check http://www.hanvon.com/en/products/tablets/index.html

  2. Up until now I was under the impression that they were making e-book readers, but looks like the repertoire is wider :)
